On the date of 27 May 2017, we drove on the Freedom Road to Imjin Pavillion for the visit of the camp Greaves abandoned after US 101 Air Assault Battalion, 506 Regiment of US Army in 2007. We got tickets and started at 10 a.m . as our bus was moving to the check points on the road of Freedom stretched along the Han river and Imjin river.
We saw a couple of the barracks used for soldiers and commander' s center, some of which have been modified to hotel and exhibition galleries.
It was highlighted to me that all US barracks were camouflaged with gray colours in the north zone cross the river near the bridge of no return.
After the camp visit for 2 hours, we enjoyed our lunch with the lunch boxes packed at home. We drove to the English village in Paju Hailey to explore what is taking place there.
The village is good to see different architecture, but it is so few visitor in there, worrying about the economical sense of Investment & Recovery.
The camp visit program was consisting of more the 3rd tunnel visit and Dora observatory post too. On the way of home, we had dinners, taking rest from the traffic jam on the North Riverside Road.
From 0800 to 2000, it took twelve(12) hours - a full day course -
