Driving and exploring the North Battle Places
On the Friday morning as date of 24 Aug. 2018, I and my wife applied for one day company leave took the highway between South Kuri and Pochon for enjoying a retreat off home. On last Sunday, my car was out of order in a country 70 Km off home and transported by a wrecker vehicle at costs. I wanted to inspect the automatic transmission of my car repaired during driving and wanted to visit the northern area known as the defeated place, Sachang-ri and Buk-myon of ROK 6 th division during Korean war in time of the Chinese spring offensive battle. We started at 10:00 am and dropped by the Pochon service area in the highway to take lunch. We took our lunch box and enjoyed a pack of fried chicken from Lotteria. We kept on driving till we drove off Sinbuk IC, the final IC of the highway and kept on driving on the 43th national road.
